Be a Presenter with ICF New England

Two pathways for sharing your expertise with our coaching community

Our Audience and Intent

ICF New England is a diverse and inclusive professional coaching community committed to high-quality, ethical, and engaging learning experiences. We offer a forum for exploring a wide range of tools, perspectives, assessments, and approaches that support the evolving coaching profession.

While ICFNE does not promote any single coaching methodology, certification program, or philosophy, we curate educational experiences that are relevant, thought-provoking, and aligned with ICF Core Competencies and the ICF Code of Ethics. Our programming includes both evidence-based and emerging practices designed to support coaches at every stage of development.

Two Presentation Pathways

ICF New England offers two presentation pathways. These pathways are not ranked by status, but differ in scope, audience size, and level of facilitation support.

1. Main Stage Featured Presenters

Main Stage Featured Presenters are experienced facilitators who deliver polished, high-impact learning experiences for a broad coaching or other professional audiences.

These sessions typically:

  •  Serve a large and diverse membership audience
  • Address well-developed concepts, tools, or frameworks
  • Demonstrate strong facilitation presence and audience engagement
  • Align clearly with ICF Core Competencies and ethical standards

Main Stage presentations are ideal for facilitators with prior speaking experience who are ready to lead full-scale professional development sessions.

2. Emerging Presenters Program [in development, expected approximately June 2026]

The Emerging Presenters Program is designed for developing facilitators who are refining their voice, presence, and facilitation skills, with structured support and feedback.

This pathway:

  • Provides opportunities to practice and grow as a presenter
  • Emphasizes learning, experimentation, and skill development
  • Includes guidance, feedback, and developmental support from the attending coaches
  • Recognizes facilitation as a professional growth journey

Emerging Presenters are valued contributors from and to our ICFNE community and are supported as they build confidence, clarity, and facilitation effectiveness.

Our Process

All presenter applications are reviewed by a multi-member Presenter Selection Panel. Sessions are selected based on alignment with ICF New England member interests, ICF core competencies, requested topics, and required educational priorities.

To support fairness, consistency, and transparency, applications are reviewed by multiple panel members using a shared rubric that looks at content quality, presentation readiness, core competency alignment, ethical integrity, and inclusivity and equity.

This collaborative process helps us curate engaging, high-quality programs that serve our coaching community while welcoming a wide range of voices and perspectives. We warmly encourage both experienced and emerging presenters to apply.
