Biography
I specialize in leadership coaching, training and development, and in the education and mentoring of professional coaches.
As a leadership coach, I support leaders in becoming their best selves and taking their teams and organizations to the next level. My clients describe me as warm and nurturing with a practical, logical mind, and my work is informed my broad cross-cultural experience and a passion for diversity and inclusion. I provide individual and group coaching, training facilitation and content development.
As a coach trainer and mentor coach in private practice, I help new coaches acquire practical and conceptual mastery of coaching competencies and ethics in preparation for ACC and PCC application and renewal. I also provide mentor coaching for coaches in training at CoachRICE, the Doerr Institute for New Leaders, Rice University. I am a current PCC assessor for the ICF.
On occasion, I provide consulting services. I am an experienced qualitative researcher with expertise in structured and unstructured interviewing, sampling, participant-observation, focus groups, content and discourse analysis, qualitative data coding and analysis.
My background is in cultural anthropology and the study of gender, professional cultures, the media. My research received support from the European Commission, University College London, and Rice University, among others.
